Ghanaian youngster Christian Atsu has told GHANAsoccernet.com he will consider leaving Porto to secure regular first team action.

The 20-year-old has been recalled by the 2004 Champions League winners following a successful loan spell with Rio Ave where he was named the Player of the Season.

The Cheetah FC player who earned his debut Ghana call following his explosive season with Rio Ave however says he is willing to leave even in another loan spell if he is not assured of regular opportunities in the first team at FC Porto.

“Porto have called me for the pre-season so am hoping things will work out if God permit,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“If my chances of playing in Porto wouldn’t be enough for me then I would like to leave even on another lone basis.”

Atsu who is with the Black Stars squad preparing for the 2014 World Cup qualifiers won the FIFA Blue Stars Youth Cup’s Best Player Award in August 2011 and went ahead to win the FC Porto Best Young Player gong the same year.
