Ghana Under-20 defender Rashid Sumaila arrived in Italy on Tuesday morning to begin a two-week trial at Italian Serie A side Parma.

The central defender, who turns 18 in December, will be signed on before the summer transfer deadline at the end of the month if he is able to convince the club's technical team in ten days.

"Parma are impressed with performance of Bright Addai who signed for them last year and want to sign some more talents from Ghana. He's one of the finest defender back home and I know he can grab this opportunity," Fifa player agent Oliver Arthur told Ghanasoccernet.com

The Ebusua Dwarfs player was impressive in both legs of Ghana's Africa Under-20 Championship qualifier against Namibia.
