Ghanaian rapper Donzy Chaka has called on football fans to show support for the Ghana Premier League.

The Tema based rapper met with management of Inter Allies on Tuesday as he teams up with the club to pull supporters to the club on match days.

The artiste and his team had a round-table discussion with the President, vice President and the Technical Director of the Club to formally discuss a relationship of mutual benefits to both parties.

Following his meeting with the "Capelli Boys", the rapper posted on Twitter asking fans to support the local league like the way they support their foreign clubs.

Other musicians and artists have also publicly declared their supports for local clubs with Kwesi Arthur recently seen wearing the Accra Hearts of Oak jersey.

Meanwhile, vice President of Inter Allies Delali Senaya expressed joy in meeting the rapper.

“We (Inter Allies FC) are extremely happy a huge Tema based artiste has come out to support the team. We hope this will be a huge step in winning more fans in Tema since we know your (Donzy) people follow your career and you have been doing great for them always,” he told interallies.com

“Tema is our home venue and it is important that the people of the area accept us so we will count on you to lead that crusade”.
