Ghanaian Fifa referee Seidu Bomison Hamidu will handle this weekend's Caf Champions League round of 16 first leg tie between Gabonese champions Union Sportive de Bitam and Enyimba FC.

Bomison, who has held a Fifa licensed badge since 2007, will be assisted on the lines by compatriots Malik Salifu Alidu and Ibrahim Adams Badiu at the Gaston Peyrille Stadium.

The Gabonese side are relatively unknown on the continent as they have made only a single appearance in Africa's premier club competition, way back in 2004, when they crashed out in the first round.

Enyimba, two-time champions in 2003 and 2004 are expected by many to advance to the next round after overcoming Saint Michel d'Ouenze of Congo 3-0 on aggregate.
