Ghanaian striker Basit eyes Hapoel Beer Sheva starting role next season

Ghanaian Abraham Basit hopes to fight for a starting role next season after joining his Israeli side Hapoel Beer Sheva FC  for pre-season.

The 22-year-old made 24 times appearances and netted 3 goals on his debut season last term.

The Beersheba –based side will embark on a training tour of Poland in mid July as they put their preparations for the campaign into full gear.

The former King Faisal player wants to earn more playing time next season.

"My target is to get regular starting place and help the team qualify for Europe next season and that what I will look to work on," Basit told GHANAsoccernet.com

"I have three more years on my contract and I hope to do well and make a name with this club. It's fantastic and I'm back here to improve on my performance last season.''

Hapoel Beer Sheva will be hoping to improve on their 9th position last term.
