Ghanaian striker Oduro wins MLS Goal award

Ghanaian striker Dominic Oduro's clever, composed half-volley has been voted as the AT&T Major League Soccer Goal of the Week for Week 9.

Oduro, who notched the second goal in the Houston Dynamo’s 2-0 win over D.C. United, earned 41% of the votes.

Braun, whose strike for Chivas USA came in a losing effort against Real Salt Lake. The Goats fell 2-1.

RSL’s Fabian Espíndola finished in third place with 16% of the votes, followed by Columbus Crew defender Andy Iro (10%) and Houston’s Danny Cruz (6%)

Oduro, 24, is playing in his second season at Dynamo Houston.
