EXCLUSIVE: Ghanaian teen Gideon Jung signs new contract that will keep him at Hamburg until 2020

Ghanaian teen sensation Gideon Jung has signed a new contract to remain at Hamburg until 2020, GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The current deal was expected to expire in the summer of 2018.

But the hugely talented defensive midfielder has put pen-to-paper on a further two years.

Hamburg chairman Dietmar Beiersdorfer said:  "We are very pleased that we were able to bind a very talented and viable player to us with Gideon Jung. He has made the step to the Bundesliga player with us and it is a good sign that he stay with us for the next years want, "

The Ghanaian, who is currently nursing an injury further posited:  "I feel at HSV a super backing is why I was also very pleased about the offer and did not think twice to appeal."

The youngster joined from third division outfit Rot-Weiss Oberhausen and has since impressed heavily.
