Ghanaian winger Ernest Asante scored the match-winner for IK Start who resisted a Sogndal fight-back to book a 3-2 win in the Norwegian top-flight league on Sunday night.Â
Ghanaian striker Mahatma Otoo has netted twice to put Start in trouble waters at the Sør Arena but the former Fetteh Feyenoord winger scored from the spot with six minutes of regulation time left to win the match.
Zlatko Tripi? and Rolf Vikstøl scored for Start but Otoo ensured the visitors stay in the game but Asante stepped up to the challenge and fired home a spot kick he won to record victory for his side.
Asante, 25, has netted 7 times this season for Start.
