Ghanaian players in the Egypt will have to wait for a while to play active football after the Egypt FA postponed matches indefinitely following chaotic scenes that marred Zamalek’s Caf Champions League game against Club Africain.

The players have not seen action since the second half of the Egyptian league was postponed after the 25 January Revolution in the North African country.

In February, Egyptian clubs asked all Ghanaian players to report for camping hoping the 13 April date originally fixed could see the season restart.

FC Smouha striker Samuel Afum told GHANAsoccernet.com: "We've been at home for long time, since January we've not played and that is very worrying. I need to play to keep my shape and at the moment that is not happening. I pray the situation will be resolved soon."
