Ghana's U17 side are on a redemption seeking mission in Yaoundé against their Cameroonian counterparts in the African U-17 Championship qualifying game.

Paa Kwesi Fabin's boys are keen to use Saturday's game against the Cubs to erase last year's dismal campaign in Morocco but have a Himalayan hurdle to cross.

Cameroon are usually huge and bulky by nature and have received extra motivation to triumph over Ghana after their seniors -  Indomitable Lions hammered Ivory Coast 4-1 on Wednesday.

Tema Youth Sporting Director who chair's the Black Starlets Management Committee is sure his team has mapped out the best strategy to handle the Cameroonians.

"We have seen their games and know how to handle them. And, we are hoping for a positive out," he said.

The Black Starlets won the African U-17 Championships n 1995 and 1999, finishing as runners-up in 2005.

The entire contingent left Ghana on Wednesday morning and transited through Abidjan before arriving in Cameroon's capital.
