Heart of Oak have denied coach Nebojsa Vucicevic is on a media blackout after he refused to speak to the press following Saturday's 1-2 win over Liberty Professionals.
The Serbian trainer has neglected the post-match interview on television since the league resumed on 2 March.
But the club have explained his behaviour.
"It's not true that he been told not to talk to the press. I think it is a personal thing since heââ¬â¢s maintained in the past that heââ¬â¢ll love to do the talking on the pitch," Hearts Communication Director Albert Commey told GHANAsoccernet.com
"His English is not too good and that probably why heââ¬â¢s not speaking too much. But at the appropriate time weââ¬â¢ll have a forum where the press will be invited and interact with him."
The club face perennial rivals Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League derby on Sunday.
