Heart of Oak have denied coach Nebojsa Vucicevic is on a media blackout after he refused to speak to the press following Saturday's 1-2 win over Liberty Professionals.

The Serbian trainer has neglected the post-match interview on television since the league resumed on 2 March.

But the club have explained his behaviour.

"It's not true that he been told not to talk to the press. I think it is a personal thing since he’s maintained in the past that he’ll love to do the talking on the pitch," Hearts Communication Director Albert Commey told GHANAsoccernet.com

"His English is not too good and that probably why he’s not speaking too much. But at the appropriate time we’ll have a forum where the press will be invited and interact with him."

The club face perennial rivals Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League derby on Sunday.
