Hearts duo to fly to South Africa for surgeries

Heart of Oak duo Kofi Abanga and Gordon Quarshigah are expected to fly to South Africa to undergo surgery, the club's official newspaper has reported on Friday.

Midfielder Abanga has been absent from the Heart set-up since since October 2010 after doctors revealed he has ''considerable damage to both knees''

Quashigah has also been in the treatment room for months.

The club have confirmed the two players will jet out of the country by the end of the month to go under the knife in a surgery that will cost the club US$ 30,000.
