Hearts of Oak beat lower division side Future Stars 2-0 at the Legon Park in a friendly game played at the Legon Park on Wednesday.

Striker Agbashie Doetsey helped himself to a brace in the preparatory match for Sunday's MTN FA CUP clash with Wa AllStars.

The Phobians were without the services of the Wafu Cup of Nations Ghana 2017 winning quartet but they put up a good show to shoot down the lower division side.

Future Stars put up a good resistance on the day but they were undone after the introduction of Doetsey, who rounded the keeper to give Hearts the lead before doubling his tally moments later.

Back-from-injury duo Inusah Musah and Richard Edwumawura Rich were also involved on the day.

Center back Inusah lasted the entire game and he looked very solid as he stepped up his recovery.

Yamoah also came on as a substitute and showed positive sign of being ready to battle his way through the pecking order.

Winful Kwaku, Vincent Atingah Adae, Patrick Razak, and Kwame Kizito were at the training ground but Thomas Abbey will show up at training with the rest of the squad on Friday.
