Officials of Guinean side AC Horoya have been handed the shock of their lives as officials of Accra Hearts of Oak have been playing hide and seek with them over an $80,000 bid for wi ger Patrick Razak.

The Phobians have failed to respond to the Guinean side with their decision to either accept the offer or reject it despite several attempts by the side to hold a meeting with the Ghanaian giants.

The player's representatives are also unhappy with the development and have been banging on the doors of the Hearts leadership to allow the player to move.

Sources close to the player have revealed that he has expressed interest in the move and has been pressing on Hearts to accept the offer to permit him move to Guinea.

The Guinean powerhouse tabled an initial offer of $60,000 for the sharp winger but Hearts of Oak’s silence on the offer compelled the Conakry side to up the bid by an extra $20,000.

Following the bid, the General Manager of AC Horoya has been in Ghana to complete talks with the Ghanaian giants as well as personal terms with the player since the 3rd of this month.

But the GM, Mbaye Toure, was greeted with the shock of his life when Hearts officials resorted to playing hide and seek with him as well as the player and his representatives despite meeting the Commercial Affairs Manager Kweku Sekyi.

Mbaye Toure who has been in Ghana since February 3 looked determined to complete the deal with the Hearts despite the frustration he’s faced.

When GHANAsoccernet.com contacted Hearts of Oak Administrator/Accountant Hackman Aidoo, he was coy on the matter and directed that the Commercial Affairs Manager Kweku Sekyi be contacted.

Kweku Sekyi failed to respond upon several calls made as well as messages sent but Board Member Alhaji Akanbi who spoke to GHANAsoccernet.com confirmed that AC Horoya have officially tabled the offer but the club is yet to respond officially.

The lackadaisical approach of the Phobians to see the deal through has sent shivers down the spine of Razak who was eyeing the move as a groundbreaking moment in his career.

Ghanasoccernet understands that AC Horoya offered to buy a house for the winger at a place of his choice in Ghana as well as a monthly salary of $3000.

Seeing that this mouthwatering offer is set to crumble following the irresponsiveness of the Hearts of Oak leadership, Razak is believed to have aborted training for close to a week and could revolt if the board fail to iron out the issue.

According to sources close to Razak who has 9 months left on her contract with the Phobians, he is ready drag his feet with the Phobians until May to sign with the Guinean side as a free agent per FIFA regulations.

Hearts of Oak have recently endured  challenges with many players including Kwame Kizito, Vincent Atinga, Samuel Akurugu and Thomas Abbey who all left the club as free agents.
