Hearts of Oak seek FC Barcelona partnership

Ghanaian giants Accra Hearts of Oak have confirmed they are seeking to establish a relationship with Spanish and European giants Barcelona, GHANAsoccernet.com understands

The club's newspaper, Hearts News reported on Tuesday that the club have received a congratulatory message from the Nou Camp outfit on its centenary anniversary.

Hearts spokesperson Albert Commey told GHANAsoccernet.com: "Yes it’s true. We want to establish a relationship with Barcelona. We wrote to them and they have written back to us congratulating us on our anniversary. There is a possibility that they will offer a match on our centenary but there is nothing concrete now. We are still talk."

Hearts of Oak are struggling in the Ghana Premier League this season but they dispatched BA Stars 3-0 on Sunday.

Last month, another Ghanaian club side Asante Kotoko held fruitful talks with English side Sunderland for possible partnership talks.
