Ghanaian side Hearts of Oak have confirmed they will name a substantive Chief Executive Officer by Friday.

The local giants have been on the market searching for a replacement for former CEO Thomas Okine.

Ghana FA spokesman Randy Abbey has being heavily linked with the job and FA Executive Committee member Fred Crenstil is also in the hunt.

Reports claim former chairman of the club's supporters body Neil Amstrong-Mortagbe and the administrative manager of the Ghana League Clubs Association (Ghalca) Kurt Okraku have submitted their applications for the job.

The three-member committee tasked with the responsibility of finding a substantive CEO wants to fast track the process.

"We have done a lot of work and by the close of Friday, the name would be forwarded to the Board for subsequent approval’ Alhaji Braimah Soulemana, a member of the committee said.

"I’m not in a position to mention any names but all that I can say is that we believe the new person will be a good addition to the management team of the club. We looked for someone who can stand the test of time and do the work well for the club."
