Asante Kotoko will lock horns with sworn rivals Hearts of Oak in this year's MTN FA Cup final.

The Porcupine Warriors booked their third FA Cup final in five years after inflicting a 1- 0 defeat on Medeama SC in the semifinal courtesy a Saddick Adams' 110th minute strike at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium on Monday.

The Kumasi-based outfit will meet arch rivals Hearts of Oak, who saw off Wa All Stars 2-1 in the first semifinal clash on Sunday at the same venue, in the grand final.

The Phobians will hope to get one over their old nemesis this time around after losing 4-2 in the 1990 final.

Hearts, who are record holders of the competition last tasted glory in the competition in the 2000 season when they defeated Okwahu United 2-0 in the final.

The final showdown between the two most glamorous clubs is set to come off at the Tamale Sports Stadium on the October 29.
