Ghana midfielder Andre Ayew says he has found his touch after his heroics on Wednesday but admits there are some pains in his groin.

The winger notched a double in Marseille's 3-0 win over Borussia Dortmund in the Uefa Champions League on Wednesday night.

The Ghana international's strikes in each half and France striker Loic Remy was also on target in a lively game to put Marseille firmly in control of Group F with six points from two games.

He opened the scoring in the 20th minute, put the result beyond doubt in the 69th from the penalty spot after Remy had doubled the tally, leaving Dortmund third in the Group with one point

Ayew was left out of the Black Stars squad to play Sudan and Nigeria which has generated some debate.

Despite Ayew's confidence that he is on the up, the son of legend Abedi Pele admits there are some slight pains.

"Gradually, I began to find my feelings and I have less pain in my groin," the 21-year-old told the club’s website

"Now this Champions League match is over and we have to aim for the points on Sunday(against Brest) at home.

"After the game, the coach told us it was good and we were on track in the Champions League but also need to think about Sunday's game. We need three points at all costs! "

Marseille's night finished on a sour note when his younger brother Jordan Ayew was sent off in stoppage time, picking up a second yellow card for diving.

They will next face Arsenal, who are second in the Group with four points after beating Olympiakos 2-1 on Wednesday.
