Ghana new boy Kassim Nuhu says he is over-excited and can’t even describe his feelings after scoring for the Black Stars on his debut.

The Young Boys defender outsmarted his marker to tap in a cross to open the scoring for the Black Stars in their 3-0 win over Saudi Arabia in a friendly.

“It will always be one of the best moments in my career. Words can't explain how I felt after scoring the goal but it was wonderful,” Kassim told GHANAsoccernet.com.

Kassim is one of three players who were handed their debut call ups into the team including former Inter Allies left back Abass Mohammed and Hearts of Oak center back Vincent Atinga.

The Young Boys defender has been in tremendous form for his side guiding them to the Europa League group stages proving to the national team that his club form isn’t a fluke.

But the determined 23-year old wants to fight and establish himself in the side.

“Yes I will fight to stay in the team and will always give my best In Sha Allah. I will be very honoured and will continue to give out my best anytime I am called,” he added.

The former Medeama SC defender who is the younger brother of Kotoko’s most consistent center back Ahmed Adams will be looking to be a regular in Kwasi Appiah’s squad.
