Inter fans boo Sulley Muntari but the Ghanaian fights on

Inter Milan misfit Sulley Muntari suffered boos on Saturday night when he played his first Serie A match this season against Roma.

The Ghana midfielder replaced new signing Diego Forlan after 79 minute but was constantly hooted any time he touched the ball.

Muntari is trying to prove that he is capable commanding a first team place in the club but the fans are frustrating him.

The behaviour by the San Siro faithful is likely to unsettle the 27-year-old and push him out of the club in January.

With his contract running out at the end of the season, Muntari could stay so that he can move as a free agent to earn more money when he signs for a new club next season.

Muntari was linked with a move away from the club this summer after returning on loan from English Premier League side Sunderland.

Turkish side Galatasaray came close to securing his signature but a deal could not be reached.

He has been left out of the club's Uefa Champions League squad for the season.
