Ghana international John Paintsil is very much at risk exiting English Premier League side Fulham due to the club's plans to balance their books.

Fulham are said to be looking for funds to help revamp the squad with mainly younger and cheaper players and could cash in on some of their aging players who are close to running out of their contracts.

Pantsil, 28, has just one year left on his contract and could be a victim.

Mark Schwarzer (38), Chris Baird (28), Paul Konchesky (28), Danny Murphy (33), Dickson Etuhu (27), Simon Davies (30) and Zoltan Gera (31) with a year remaining on their existing deals could also be sold.

The club's wages to turnover ratio, as laid out in their last published financial accounts was 61.9 percent which is sustainable but could be dangerous if the club decides to spend heavily this summer.

Club owner, Mohammed Al-Fayed is reported to have invested over 200 million pounds since he bought the club in 1997.
