Ghanaian forward Patrick Twumasi is being blocked from a dream move to the Spanish La Liga, according to reports.

According to reports, the player is being prevented by the Kazakhstani Club despite some good offers from Spanish clubs following his performance in Kazakhstan.

The 24 year old has been in top form in the last three seasons emerging as one of Ghana’s most outstanding performers in Europe.

The attacker last season bagged 14 goals to win the best player accolade at the Club.

Despite serving Astana five years, the Club are unwilling to release the 23-year-old who remains a top target for several Clubs in Spain this summer.

The Ghanaian international who has just six months left on his contract at Astana has been the hottest commodity for Clubs in mainstream Europe.

Astana are said to have already rejected several offers from England and Scotland.

The Red Bull Academy product could also leave for free after the expiration of his deal with Astana having refused a contract extension with the Club.
