Ghana international Kevin Prince Boateng has moved closer to joining Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt days after terminating his contract with Las Palmas.

The 30-year-old terminated his Spanish La Liga side Las Palmas on Wednesday days to the start of the season.

Boateng cited personal reasons for severing ties with the La UD and even stated that his decison to walk was down to the fact that he wanted to be close to his family.

Born in Berlin Boateng has played for Schalke and Dortmund all in the past before his adventure in Spain where he scored 10 league goal last season, the best he had mastered in his career.

He is now likely to sign a three year deal and return to the Bundesliga. Eintracht Frankfurt will begin their Bundesliga season against Freiburg on Sunday the 20th of August.
