Video: Kingston looking to make quick return to Black Stars

Midfielder Laryea Kngston hopes his performance for Hearts of Oak in the Premier League has caught the eyes of Ghana coach Goran Stevanovc.

The 30-year-old has wowed many with his excellent displays since returning to Hearts in January.

Kingston was in full flight on Sunday before Ghana's Serbian trainer and though unaware of Stevanovic's presence, the ex Lokomotiv Moscow player hopes to have done enough to warrant a quicker than expected return to the Black Stars.

“My number one priority now is to get back into the Black Stars,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“I am happy the coach has seen me play, I think he has not seen me play but I am sure he has heard of me so I am happy he was here even though I didn’t know he will be.”

Kingston also assured he is not looking to use Hearts as a launch  pad to secure a move to Europe but rather wants to help the team win titles during his time with the Phobians.

“Of course I am now with them (Hearts), I have a one and a half year contract with them so I am concentrating on it.

“I will work hard for the team and who knows maybe at the end of the season we will win something.”
