Isaac Wilberforce Koomson has won the vice chairmanship slot of the Ghana League Clubs Association in an election which lacked transparency on Thursday.

The polls which took place at the Media Centre of the Accra  Sports Stadium was closed to the media only until results were declared.

With Alhaji Raji already securing the Chairmanship slot following the withdrawal of sole competitor

Vincent Sowah-Odotei, it emerged a straight fight for the vice chairmanship slot and other executive positions.

Isaac Koomson polling 40 votes proved too strong for Nana Oduro Sarfo and Jones Abu Alhassan who polled 34 and 27b votes respectively.

George Amoako was confirmed as the Treasurer after competitor Cecelia Mensah made a last minute withdrawal.

Hearts of Oak's PRO Albert Commey took the Premier League Representative slot after polling a staggering 83 votes ahead of John Ansah's 64, Gabby Musah's 42 and Alex Ackumey's 11.

Kofi Poku polled 35 votes to beat Oloboi Commodore (28), Francis Anum (20) and Frederick Nimako (15) for the Division One slot while Samuel Aboabir polled 88 votes to beat Martin Owusu who polled 16 to land the Division Two slot.
