Kotoko CEO Dr. Kwame Kyei assures fans the team will pick up with time

Asante Kotoko chairman Dr. Kwame Kyei has urged the fans of the club to be patient and remain resolute behind the club as the side will begin to win laurels soon.

The oil-mogul irrevocably states that plans are far advanced for implementation to ensure the club is properly administrated and called on the vociferous supporters to be patience since everything good project comes with a lot of setbacks.

The affable chairman of the Porcupine Warriors had time with the fans after his side’s disappointing 1-1 stalemate with Berekum Chelsea at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Wednesday.

Vociferous fans who were not enthused with the performance of the players charged on the team and the match officials after the game but were prevented by the security officials present.

And Dr. Kwame Kyei has called on the teaming fans to be patient for there will be a turn-around soon.

"We have everything ready for implementation. I'm pleading with you. Everything that you do, there are setbacks. Everything good comes with its own challenges.

“I will continue to plead with you to be patient with us." Dr. Kyei told them..

He has assured the supporters that the team will get back to its proper place soon and pleaded with them to continue support the club because the club is for the supporters.

"The team will get back to its known state. Since I came, you've been solidly behind us. Without you, we cannot run this club since Kotoko belongs to you. I cannot leave Asante Kotoko SC in a sorry state. No! Just be patient with us," he added.
