Asante Kotoko coach Ebo Mends is pleased with his side's pre-season form ahead of the 5 September commencement of the Ghana Premier League.

The Porcupine Warriors have won all of their five pre-season matches with the latest being a 1-0 success over promoted Dwarfs in Cape Coast on Sunday.

Mends, a former player at the club, is determined to build a formidable squad for the upcoming campaign.

"It been pretty good for us and we’re still in the process of getting a solid side for the upcoming season and that really excites me as a coach and the club's supporters," Mends told Ghanasoccernet.com

"We have won all the matches played so far and it is not about the result but about the level of form and physique of the players."
