Asante Kotoko will set-up a one-week intensive camping base at Gomoa Fetteh Feyenoord ahead of their league opener against Tema Youth, GHANAsoccernet.com can reveal.

This will help the team acquaint themselves with the artificial turf-like the Tema Sports Stadium pitch-at the renowned Soccer Academy.

Officials of the club also want the players to fully concentrate on the tricky task and make a winning start to their campaign.

"We'll camp at Gomoa and use the facility of the club ahead of the new season. We want to take the team away from the pressures in Kumasi, so they can concentrate fully," Kotoko spokesperson Listowell Yesu Bukarson revealed to GHANAsoccernet.com

Kotoko have made some decent signings this term and head coach Maxwell Konadu will need to craft a formidable force that can win their 22nd title.

The club will profit from using the modern training facility at the former Premier League campaigners.
