The Porcupine Warriors have been invited to play inTanzania’s 50th year independence celebrations next month.

They are scheduled to play a combined team of arch rivals Simba and Yanga to celebrate the country’s golden jubilee.

Kotoko will be away in Dar-es-Salam from 8-12 December which will coincide with their originally planned game with Berekum Chelsea on 11 December.

It is not known if the Ghana FA will approve the trip as there have been complaints that the disruption of the league has been caused by such unplanned trips.

Berekum Chelsea will also be key in this decision taking process while live television through SuperSport has been advertised which could work against the trip by the Porcupine Warriors.
