Laryea Kingston still harbouring hopes of Ghana return

Laryea Kingston is refusing to give up on a return to the Ghana national team despite remaining clubless for the past six months.

He left Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem on mutual consent in January this year.

Kingston's attempt to stay fit in the local league with Hearts of Oak fall through after failing to secure his International Transfer Certificate.

The 30-year-old hopes to land a club in the summer and pitch for a national team call-up.

"Sure I will like to play for the Black Stars again, why not? I'm still a Ghanaian; I'm still active and have a lot to offer. Like every footballer I also like to play for my country and if they give me the chance again, I will not hesitate to honour it," Kingston told the All Sports Newspaper.
