Lee Addy fit for crucial Serbian derby

Ghana defender Lee Addy is fit to play for Serbian giants Red Star when they clash with arch rivals Partizan Belgrade on Wednesday.

Addy, who is the best and most reliable defender for the ex-European champions, suffered a thigh injury last week.

The injury threatened to rule Addy out the first leg of the Serbian Cup semi final game.

But club officials on Monday said Addy has been cleared to play in the game spiced up by the presence of two Ghanaians in the Partizan squad.

Prince Tagoe has been in terrific form for Partizan while Dominic Adiyiah's talent has been noted even though he has not scored yet in a competitive game for the club.

There's another Ghanaian playing for Red Star Issah Mohammed which will make the game on Wednesday even more enticing.
