Liberty Professionals coach Michael Osei has lamented on his side's poor tactical awareness during their 2-1 defeat to Inter Allies in the penultimate match of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

The Scientific Soccer lads position on the log going into the game against Inter Allies meant they had at least pick a point to maintain their push to avoid the drop.

But first minute goal by Abdul Nassiru Hamza and Isaac Twum's 21st minute penalty strike put them in a dire state and had to fight back to reduce the deficit through substitute midfielder Benjamin Eshun in the 94th minute.

"It's very unfortunate we had to lose this way. Technically we were good but tactically we were not disciplined, that's  why we lost this game," Osei fumed.

"We slept in the early minutes and they got their two goals, which made the game mountainous for us. We have to go back and work on our flaws before our next."

Liberty are 12th on the log with 38 points and will hope to record a win against Asante Kotoko in the last match to save their season.
