23:00 GMT - The transfer window in the major leagues of Europe closes with Ghanaian players in the tick of affairs.

22:59  With the deadline almost upon us now it is clear some players like Jerry Akaminko, John Paintsil, Andre Ayew, Jeffery Sarpong, Agyemang Badu and Thomas Partey could not seal moves.

22:50 Reports just in from Sweden indicates that Enock Adu Kofi's proposed move from Swedish side Malmo failed to materialise as there no concrete offer for the midfielder despite rumours of lots of offers. He will stay at Malmo.

18:20  Ghanasoccernet.com can confirm that Ghanaian midfielder Isaac Nana's proposed move to Spanish side Cadiz failed to materialise. The former Recreativo Huelva player could not reach a deal.
