English giants Manchester City want Ghana starlet Nasiru Mohammed to join Swedish side BK Hacken before reaching a decision to acquire him permanently.

The former Ghana U17 captain impressed City officials after training with the reserves last month at the Etihad training complex in Manchester.

City want to further assess the talented attacker at BK Hacken which is one of their feeder clubs in Europe.

The newly-crowned English Premier League champions will have the first option to buy him if he makes the grades.

"We are still looking at the content of the agreement,'' a source close to player said.

There are a lot of clubs who want Nasiru to come for trial but we are looking at the Hacken deal.

"He will first consider playing and I believe Hacken will offer him the best playing opportunity plus there is also Waris in the club."
