Marseille coach plans for Andre Ayew return

Olympique Marseille coach Didier Deschamps has expressed his desire to recall Ghana midfielder Andre Ayew in his set-up next season.

The 20-year-old impressed on a season's long loan after aiding Arles Avignon to gain promotion to the French Ligue 1.

Ayew, son of Africa football legend Abedi Pele, is being monitored by English clubs and has caught the eyes of some German Bundesliga clubs.

Deschamps told him he did not fit into his plans after taking charge of the side this term.

If Andre is installed in the Marseille team, he will join his younger brother Jordan who played a bit-part role this season.

Olympique Marseille won this season French Ligue 1 title.
