Maxwell Konadu to be handed Kotoko assistant coaching role

Maxwell Kondau will be named Asante Kotoko assistant coach next season, GHANAsoccernet.com understands.

Sources close to the club have confirmed to GHANAsoccernet.com  both parties have reached an agreement with personal details sorted out.

The All Stars coach according to sources is thrilled with the idea of working with his former club and will join them at the end of the season.

He will be assisting Serbian trainer Bodgan Korak as the club seeks to build a formidable team capable of conquering Africa next season.

Meanwhile the club has confirmed ex-captain Godwin Ablordey will join the technical bench as team manager.

Ablordey, popularly referred to as ''champion'', enjoyed an incredible seven-year stint with the club and endeared himself to the fans.

He currently part of the technical crew of Ebusua Dwarfs but will abandon ship to reunite with his former club.
