Medeama have vowed NEVER to potentially replay their aborted Ghana Premier League game against Elmina Sharks, insisting there are crude attempts to cover up for the brutal assault on referee Nuhu Liman Yakubu during their ill-tempered clash on April 18.

The Mauve and Yellows are livid after being summoned to appear before the disciplinary committee over a straight jacket matter which has ruffled feathers in Tarkwa.

The 2016 CAF Confederation campaigners have been summoned show cause why the club should not be sanctioned for failing to control its officials and/or failing to prevent them from entering the inner perimeter and and off the field of play after the recess.

The two-time Ghana FA Cup winners insists the invitation is bogus and lack merit and goes to buttress the several conspiracy theory being hatched against the club.

The Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association has invited six persons to attend its meeting on Friday in connection with the Elmina Sharks FC and Medeama SC match which ended abruptly.

The slow and snail pace of adjudicating on the brutal and inhumane attack has shocked many Ghanaian football fans amid widespread suspicion of blackmail.

Irate Elmina Sharks thugs and goons physically attacked Wa-based referee Nuhu Liman Yakubu after recess and initially sought to lie and deceive the public after claiming he 'tripped and fell'.

But they were unmasked after shocking images appeared to make practical nonsense of their bogus claim.

The referee was rushed to the hospital while the fourth official refused to continue with the game for fear of his life.

In a perceived case of nepotism, cronyism, clientelism and patronage, the Disciplinary Committee have shockingly invited six persons to assist in investigation despite filing their match reports immediately after the game.

Berekum Chelsea were handed a three-home match ban after some fans allegedly attacked same referee Nuhu Liman- and in that scenario, the FA was quick and swift in adjudicating on the matter.

However, the the situation appear to be shifting since the horrific and life-threatening episode took place at the Nduom stadium.

GHANAsoccernet.com sleuth hounding in Tarkwa indicate, the Mauve and Yellows have vowed NEVER to replay the game against Elmina Sharks - insisting the law must apply without fear or favour.

They have vowed to fight the matter to its logical conclusion and won't allow some selfish individuals to twist the rules to favour their opponents.

It's been rumoured that the Ghana FA being 'is blackmailed' to replay the aborted match amid fears of losing Group Nduom sponsorship deal for the National Women's League.

It appears Ghana football is set for some frenetic times with Medeama unlikely to budge and fight the case to the upper limit of world football.

It's remarkably striking that the Nduom stadium remain 'unlocked' despite the brazen attack on the match official.

Several clubs have suffered similar fate after but appears the laws have dramatically changed under the latest scenario.
