Elsewhere in the opening day fixtures in Zone 1, BA Stars managed a 2-1 away win over Upper East Stars while Bazooka FC drew goalless with Bechem at home.
On Monday, Medeama FC and Ebusua Dwarfs square-off at the Ohene Djan Stadium to determine which team qualify from Zone 2.
Both teams are tied on six points apiece.
