New Edubiase head coach Mohammed Gargo has sighed his relief after retaining Premier League football for the Obuasi-based club.

The Ex-international midfielder guided the debutants to a 1-0 victory over Liberty Professionals on the final day of competition on Wednesday.

A victory that ensured they were not dragged in the relegation battle.

The Ex-Udinese star succeeded E K Afranie who led the club to the drop zone and revealed his team's profligacy nearly made him pass out.

"If not for my courage, I could have collapsed or even died on the bench as my boys kept wasting glaring chances," Mohammed told Asempa FM.

"We created a lot of goal scoring opportunities but inexplicably, we weren’t able to convert them. Aat a point in time, my legs kept shivering in anticipation of a win which thankfully, we secured."

New Edubiase will now turn their attention to rebuilding their squad ahead of next season.
