Morocco planning Ghana friendly

Published on: 09 April 2012

The Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) is reported to have reached an agreement with its Ghanaian counterpart for a friendly between the Atlas Lions and the Black Stars.

The media in the North African country have widely reported that the match will be played in either Paris or Casablanca.

Though an official statement is yet to be released on the encounter, the game is expected to take place on August 15.

It would serve both teams as preparation for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in September.

Morocco are now ranked 61st in the last FIFA ranking.
