Nat Asamoah debuts for Red Star in Serbian league

Published on: 08 April 2012

Striker Nathaniel Asamoah made his Serbian Super Liga debut in Red Star Belgrade’s 5-0 win over Metalac GM on Saturday.

The 22-year-old came off the bench in the 65th minute to replace Darko Lazovic as Robert Prosinecki's side piled the pressure on leaders Partizan Belgrade.

The former Asante Kotoko player had struggled to make the first team grade since his four-year-old move to the club in January playing mostly with the second string side.

However, after making his debut for the club, Asamoah will be hoping to get more game time.
