New signing Prince Tagoe determined to improve Kelantan

Ghana striker Prince Tagoe says he will punch above his weight  to help improve the fortunes of his Malaysian side Kelantan.

Tagoe is one of the new signings that the club as they seek to revive their flagging campaign in the top-flight.

He will be coached by Ghanaian-born ex-Dutch international George Boateng who has replaced Steve Darby.

“I know Kelantan fans are hoping that the team’s attack will be much stronger (than) before this, so I will take that as a challenge to work hard,” Tagoe told Utusan

Tagoe has rich experience abroad having played for Ettifaq, Al Shabab and Al Ittihad all in the Gulf.

The 27-year-old also featured for European sides TSG Hoffenhiem, Partizan Belgrade and Bursaspor.

Tagoe terminated his contract with Tunisian side Club Africain last year for breach of contract.
