Pantsil return delights Fulham players

Defender Zoltan Gera says Fulham players were delighted for John Pantsil after his comeback in their 0-0 draw against Wolves on Saturday.

Pantsil was an unused substitute on Saturday afternoon during the Premier League game.

The Ghanaian international was predictably and understandably greeted with a chorus of cheers.

“Everyone is pleased to have JP back,” Gera said.

“You heard the welcome he got from the fans today because he is a popular and important player for us.

"It’s great to have him fit and back in contention again.

“It’s been a while since he last played, and he was very pleased to be part of the squad today.

"Now he’ll want to get back out there and with a few games of the season left no doubt he’ll be looking to finish strongly – as we all are.”
