Defender Paul Aidoo scored the consolation for his new Turkish club Gungoren on Wednesday night as they succumbed to a 3-1 defeat to Gotztepe.

The Ghanaian scored from a glancing header on 27 minutes at the Folkart Altay Alsancak Stadium before three second half goals.

Addo, who joined the second-tier Turkish league side this summer from Berekum Chelsea,  has played the last five matches.

"I'm disappointed because we lost the game and the fact that I think we played well but such is the game and we were beaten," Addo told GHANAsoccernet.com

"The situation is not good for us at the moment and we need to improve on our subsequent games to stay afloat in the league.

"But I have absolute faith in the coach and his backroom staff to do a good job on the team."

Compatriot Obed Owusu Ampong also played the  full throttle for the side.

Gungoren are locked up at the bottom of the 18-league table.
