Former Tema Youth poacher Joseph Paintsil continued to torment opponents in the Hungarian top league as he scored again for Ferencvarosi while Ernest Asante, Prosper Kaim, Nasiru Mohammed all registered their names in the various leagues abroad.

ENGLAND

Andre Ayew warmed the bench for West Ham United as they held Burnley to a 1-1 draw at the Turf Moor Stadium.

Christian Atsu miraculously recovered from injury to play 82 minutes for Newcastle United in their 2-2 stalemate against Southampton at the St. Mary’s Stadium.

Jeffery Schlupp enjoyed 75 minutes of action for Crystal Palace as they recorded their first win of the campaign with a shocking 2-1 victory over defending champions Chelsea.

Jordan Ayew registered an assist for Tammy Abraham to score his second goal of the afternoon as Swansea City beat Huddersfield Town 2-0 at the Liberty Stadium.

In the Championship, Albert Adomah lasted 73 minutes for Aston Villa in their 2-0 loss to Phil Ofosu-Ayeh’s Wolverhampton Wanderers. Ofosu-Ayeh missed the game through injury.

Andy Yiadom returned from injury to warm the bench for Barnsley in their 2-2 draw against Middlesbrough at the Oakwell Stadium.

Dennis Odoi scored in the 95th minute to rescue a point for Fulham in their 2-2 home draw against Preston North End.

Striker Caleb Ekuban missed Leeds United 1-0 home defeat to Reading through injury.

In the League One, striker Kwesi Appiah returned from injury but was declared unfit by manager Neal Ardley as his side AFC Wimbledon picked maximum points at Northampton.

Striker Tarique Fosu’s lone strike handed Charlton Athletic a 1-0 home win over Doncaster Rovers. Joe Dodoo was an unused substitute for the Addicks.

In the League Two, midfielder Hiram Boateng picked a knock in the 44th minute of Exeter City’s 0-0 draw at Wycombe.

Midfielder Nortei Nortey played full throttle for Dover Athletic in their 0-0 stalemate with Bromley in the English FA Cup qualification final.

SPAIN

Thomas Partey made a cameo appearance for Atletico Madrid in their 1-1 draw with Barcelona at the Wanda Metropolitan.

Kwadwo Asamoah enjoyed a rare 90 minutes for Juventus as they lost 2-1 at home to SS Lazio.

Afriyie Acquah was not added to the Torino squad that recorded a 2-2 draw at Crotone.

Alfred Duncan picked a booking but completed 90 minutes for Sassuolo in their goalless draw with Chievo Verona.

Godfred Donsah was a masterpiece in the middle of the park for Bologna in their 2-1 win over SPAL.

Isaac Cofie missed Genoa’s 3-2 win at Cagliari through a minor knock.

In the Serie B, Bright Addae missed Ascoli 3-3 home draw with Venezia through suspension.

Defender Isaac Donkor also missed Cesena 2-1 loss at Carpi through injury.

Moses Odjer picked a booking for Salernitana as they fell 3-2 away to Avellino. Meanwhile, Patrick Asmah continued his bench warming role for Salernitana.

Midfielder Emmanuel Besea warmed the bench for Frosinone in their goalless draw against Palermo.

Enoch Kwarteng did not travel with Nantes as they held Girondin de Bordeaux to a pulsating 1-1 draw at the Stade Chaban Delmas.

Ebenezer Assifuah was excluded from Le Havre squad that suffered a 3-0 thumping at Clemont.

Goalkeeper Lawrence Ati Zigi continued his bench warming role for Sochaux Montbiliard in their 1-0 win over Paris FC.

Kevin-Prince Boateng played full throttle for Eintracht Frankfurt as they recorded a 2-1 win at Hannover 96

Defender Joseph Baffo excelled in a back-three role Eintracht Brauschweig in their 0-0 draw at Duisburg. Steffen Nkansah was not in the squad for the trip to Duisburg.

Defender Marcel Appiah played 90 minutes for VfL Osnabruck in their 2-0 home loss to Magdeburg.

AUSTRIA

Kadiri Mohammed was unfortunate as he conceded an own goal in Austria Vienna’s 3-0 loss at Sturm Graz.

Bernard Tekpetey played 66 minutes for AC Altach in their 2-2 home draw with Admira.

David Atanga warmed the bench for Red Bull Salzburg as they dispatched LASK Linz.

Kennedy Boateng was a stalwart at the back for Reid in their 2-1 win over BW Linz, who had Ghanaian attacker Samuel Oppong sent off.

Gideon Mensah lasted 78 minutes for FC Leifering in their 3-1 home win over Hartberg. Samuel Tetteh returned a long layoff to make a cameo appearance for the side.

Majeed Ashimeru opened his account for Austria Lustenau as they pip Kapfenberg 1-0.

AZERBAIJAN

Striker Richard Gadze registered his fourth goal of the season for Zira FC in their 3-0 home win over Kapaz.

BELGIUM

William Owusu Acheampong made a cameo appearance for Royal Antwerp in their 3-0 home win over Zulte Waregem.

Dennis Appiah played the entire period of Anderlecht 4-3 away win over KV Mechelen.

Midfielder Samuel Asamoah lasted the entire period for Sint Triudense as they held Lokeren to a 1-1 draw.

Fleet footed attacker Eric Ocansey rescued a point for KAS Eupen with a 88th minute strike in their 2-2 draw at Sporting Charleroi.

Defender Joseph Aidoo was impregnable at the back for KRC Genk in their 1-1 home stalemate with Mouscron.

Said Ahmed Said was a late substitute for Hadjuk Split in their 2-1 win against Cibalia.

Midfielder Maxwell Boadu Acosty enjoyed his first full 90 minutes for Rijeka since joining from Crotone in January as they were shocked 1-0 by Istra 1961. German-born of Ghanaian descent R Ofosu also played out full action for Istra but picked a booking in the 92nd minute.

Obeng Regan warmed the bench for Inter Zapresic as they beat Slaven Belupo 2-1 away.

CZECH REPUBLIC

Striker Benjamin Tetteh failed to make Bohemians 1905 match day squad that beat Banik Ostrava 2-1 at home.

Frank Acheampong lasted 90 minutes for Tianjin Teda as they impressively dispatched Shanghai Shenhua 2-1 on Sunday.

Joseph Mensah was substituted in the 90th minute in AC Horsens 2-2 home draw with Hobro.

Ibrahim Moro picked a booking for Silkeborg in their 4-1 thumping at Brondby. Meanwhile, Kelvin Mensah missed the clash for Brondby with a minor injury.

Nana Welbeck made a cameo appearance for Odense BK in their shocking 1-0 win over defending champions Copenhagen.

Ernest Asante plundered in his 10th goal of the campaign for FC Nordsjaelland in their 3-2 win over Randers FC. Nordsjaelland Ghanaian duo Godsway Donyoh missed the game through injury while Collins Tanor failed to make the match day squad for the Wild Tigers.

FINLAND

Baba Mensah lasted the entire period for Ilves in their 1-0 home win against KuPS. His compatriot and teammate Reuben Ayarna was however taken off in the 40th minute.

Striker Seth Paintsil lasted 36 minutes for Jaro FF in their 3-1 home defeat to AC Oulu after suffering injury.

HUNGARY

Joseph Paintsil continued his scoring exploits for Ferencvarosi as he scored his 4th goal of the campaign in their 1-1 draw at Puskas Academy.

Michael Essien lasted 78 minutes for Persib Bandung in their 2-1 defeat at PSM Makassar.

KAZAKHSTAN

In-form striker Patrick Twumasi scored a goal for Astana as they annihilated Atyrau 7-0. The goal was his 12th of the season.

Winger Ernest Ohemeng starred for Moreirense as they saw off Canales 2010 3-1 in the Taca de Portugal round of 32.

Alhassan Wakaso was in action for Vitoria Guimaraes as they walloped Vasco da Gama 6-1 in the Taca de Portugal round of 32.

Aziz Tetteh was a late substitute for Lech Poznan in their 1-1 stalemate at Jagiellonia.

SCOTLAND

Prince Buaben played full throttle for Hearts of Midlothian in their 2-1 win at Ross County.

SWEDEN Former Right to Dream Academy product Frank Arhin hit his debut goal for Ostersunds Fk in their 3-0 win over Orebro at the Jemkraft Arena while compatriot Samuel Mensah enjoyed full action for the Red and Blacks. Patrick Kpozo meanwhile, warmed the bench for coach Graham Potter’s side.

Red-hot forward Nasiru Mohammed scored his 7th league goal for Hacken BK in their 3-0 victory over AFC Eskiltuna. Defender Mohammed Abubakari made a cameo appearance for the winners.

Thomas Boakye picked a red card while midfielder Sabah Lawson lasted 46 minutes for Varbegs in their 1-0 loss at Frej.

Richard Donkor lasted 68 minutes for Falkenbergs as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Trelleborgs at home. Eric Kwakwa was introduced as a late substitute for Falkenbergs

Prosper Kasim was on target for Norrby in their 2-0 home victory against Degerfors.

Richard Kissi Boateng was not added to SuperSport United squad that won the MTN 8 Cup over Cape Town FC.

Raphael Dwamena scored his first goal since coming back from a heart scare setback as FC Zurich inflicted a 3-1 defeat on FC Thun.

Following a dream debut for the Black Stars, Kasim Nuhu continued from where he left off before the international break with another superb display for Young Boys despite losing 2-1 at Lausanne.

SERBIA

Midfielder Francis Kyeremeh picked a booking but lasted the entire period for Radnik in their 2-0 home loss to giants Partizan Belgrade.

In-form striker Richmond Boakye Yiadom missed a penalty but scored as his side Red Star Belgrade hammered Macva Sabac 4-0 at home. Meanwhile, compatriot Abraham Frimpong, who suffered concussion in midweek against Dinamo in the Serbian Cup, was not included in the match day squad.

Joseph Attamah picked a booking but saw 90 minutes for Basaksehir in their 2-1 win over Isaac Sackey’s Alanyaspor. Sackey was taken off in the 61st minute.

Bernard Mensah lasted 71 minutes for Kasimpasa in their 3-2 home defeat to John Boye’s Sivasspor. Boye missed the action through injury.
