SWEDEN

Young striker Abdul Majeed Waris won the most value player award in Hacken's 2-0 home victory over Elfsborg.

The 19-year-old scored his second goal in two games with a sublime finish on the 76th minute.

Waris also created a penalty which was wasted.

There was no Yusif Chibsah in the Gefle IK that resisted a stubborn Syrianska side to beat them 2-1.

But 21-year-old midfielder Zakaria Abdullai lasted the entire match for Gefle while his Ghanaian compatriot Joachim Adukor sat on the Gefle bench.

In the Swiss Lower-tier league, midfielder Jeff Ofori played the entire match for Panellinios which defeated Hägersten 3-1.

BELGIUM

OH Leuven dropped further on the Pro League table after recording yet another defeat.

They succumbed to a 2-0 defeat at Kortrijk and striker Patrick Amoah was brought on with just seven minutes left on the clock.

Abdul Yakeen Iddi scored a 34th minute face-saving goal for KV Mechelen which suffered their heaviest defeat of the season by going down 5-1 at Mons.

Forward William Owusu-Acheampong replaced Lens Annab on the 37th minute when Westerlo blew away Saint Truiden 2-0.

Utility midfielder Rahim Ayew was booked on the 76th minute for Lierse IK which held Cercle Brugge to a goalless draw game.

Right-back Daniel Opare was in full time action for Standard Liege who suffered a huge 3-0 defeat AA Genk.

Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe provided the assist for Club Brugge's opener against Lokeren and helped them win the tie 2-1.

Full-back Dennis Odoi helped an enterprising Anderlecht side to a 1-0 away win over Racing Gent.

FRANCE

Olympique Marseille dropped to the root of the Ligue 1 table with just three points after losing 2-0 at Lyon.

Andre and Jordan Ayew were both started from the bench. Black Stars captain John Mensah warmed the Lyon bench.

Midfielder Rabiu Mohammed broke into the Evian Thonon Gaillard starting line-up and played 68 minutes in their 2-2 draw with big-spenders PSG.

Defender Jonathan Mensah sat on the Evian bench.

John Boye maintained his position and played the full 90 minutes for Stade Rennes which shared the points with Nancy at their favourite Stade de la Route de Lorient.

DENMARK

Nordsjaelland completed a hat-trick of victories in the Superliga with a comfortable 2-0 win over Brondby.

Central midfielder Enock Adu-Kofi replaced Granskov-Hansen on the 59th minute.

Elsewhere in the Danish second-tier, former Liverpool defender Godwin Antwi was a full timer for Velje which drew 0-0 with Frederica.

GERMANY

Hans Adu-Sarpei is yet to kick a ball for Schalke 04 in the Bundesliga.

He watched from the stands as on-fire Bayern Munich beat them 2-0 at the Veltins-Arena.

GREECE

Bernard Yao Kumordzi played at the right side of midfield for Panionios in their 2-1 loss to PAOK.

ITALY

Youngster Afriyie Acquah lasted 77 minutes for Palermo in their 1-0 loss at Atalanta.

Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu replaced his international team mate Kwadwo Asamoah as Udinese moved to third place after beating Fiorentina 2-0 at the Stadio Friuli.

Kevin-Prince Boateng could not recover in time to play in AC Milan's 3-1 disgraceful defeat at Napoli.

SWITZERLAND

Sensational winger Ishmael Yartey provided the assist for Servette's second goal and scored the third in a 4-1 drubbing of Dudingen in the Swiss FA Cup.

NETHERLANDS

Left-back Nana Akwasi Asare continues to impress in the Dutch Eredivisie as he scored his third goal in two games for FC Utrecht.

Asare, who hit a brace last weekend rescue a point for Utrecht to had gone 2-1 to Heracles Almelo thanks to goals from Ghana international Kwame Quansah and Glynor Plet.

He swept home a drive to level the scoring in the 54th minute.

UKRAINE

Ghana youth winger Abeiku Quansah is still recovering from a muscle tear and sat out of Arsenal Kiev's 0-0 stalemate with FK Olexandria.

TURKEY

Strikers Prince Tagoe and Matthew Amoah both were second half substitutes for Bursaspor and Mersin respectively.

Amoah replaced Yekh Kamanan on the 62nd minute before Prince Tagoe came ten minutes as Bursaspor thumped Mersin 3-1.

Tagoe was booked on the 85th minute.

NORWAY

Stromsgodset's winless spiral in the Norwegian top division stretched to eight games after they went down 2-0 to Tromso.

Goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey manned the post for Stromsgodset while Mohammed Abu played a central midfield role.

Full-back Razak Nuhu was brought on as an 82nd minute sub.

King Osei Gyan lasted 64 minutes for Viking which defeated Sogndal 2-0.

Former Ghana Under-17 captain Paul Addo warmed the bench for Odd Grenland who managed a 3-1 loss to Stabaek.
