ENGLAND

Defender John Pantsil's 100th cap in England still hangs in the air as he failed to play for Leicester City on Saturday.

Attacking midfielder Albert Adomah saw full time action for Bristol City who slipped to the bottom after disgracefully losing 5-0 at the Bloomfield Park to Ian Holloway's Blackpool.

Former Dundee United midfielder Prince Buaben continues to struggle for first team place at Watford.

He was left out of the Hornets' team that suffered a 4-0 defeat at leaders Southampton.

Winger Lloyd Sam was left out of the Leeds United squad that piped Portsmouth 1-0 at the Loftus Road Park.

Striker Asamoah Gyan opened his goal account in the United Arab Emirates for Al Ain when he converted a 27th minute penalty in a 1-1 draw with Emirates FC.

GREECE

Left-back David Nii Addy lasted the entire match for Panaitolikos who suffered a 2-1 loss at Atromitos.

In the Greek Super League, Kerkyra remained rooted to the bottom of the table with just a single point after losing 2-1 at PAS Giannina.
