The Premier League Board has confirmed they will not extend Friday's transfer deadline after only two clubs submitted their documents for verification.

Asante Kotoko and AshantiGold are the only clubs that have submitted the names of the registered players for the new campaign.

The PLB is worried the delay from the clubs will put unnecessary pressure on officials with barely 24 hours for the transfer-window to shut down.

"We have already delayed the deadline by a week and tomorrow (Friday) date won't be pushed forward again. That’s the official position from us," PLB boss Welbeck Abra-Appiah said.

"This culture of last minute must cease because at the end of the day, we’re the same people who run around and complain about little things."

The remaining clubs except newly promoted Wassaman United have up till 17:00 GMT on Friday to present the names of their registered players.
