Ransford Osei wants to aid Celtic to top four spot

Ghana international Ransford Osei hopes to help new club Bloemfontein Celtic to a top four finish in the Absa Premiership this season.

Osei joined Phunya Sele Sele on a six-month contract to the end of the season after recovering from crippling injuries that have kept him sidelined for much of the past two years.

He is now back to full fitness though and is hoping to show South African fans the talent that made his such a leading star for Ghana at the 2007 FIFA Under-17 World Cup.

“I think it's a very good move for me. When I came here I saw the team has plenty of quality players and a good and encouraging coach. I think it's a good start for me to pick up my form,” Osei told the club’s official website.

“I am targeting to help the team achieve what they want to achieve this season. We are aiming for a top 4 finish in the league. I am not predicting any specific goals but I promise to give my best every time.

“I am very happy to be here and I am just going to do my best to make the team be where they want to be at the end of the season. I urge the supporters to please have confidence in us and they must come in numbers to encourage the players every game in order to achieve our goals.”
