Real Madrid star Marco Asensio has made good on his goal celebration during Sunday's 5-3 La Liga win at Real Betis by shaving the head of a mate.

After heading in the opening goal at the Benito Villamarin, Asensio ran his hand over his hair in a gesture that he explained afterwards to beIN SPORT was "dedicated to a friend who I'd said that if I scored a header it would have to be shaved."

The promise was duly fulfilled with the young Spain international doing the honours himself. Perhaps if his football career does not work out as planned, the barbering trade might offer another way of making ends meet.

That does appear unlikely at this point, with Asensio now having 10 goals and five assists in 35 games for Madrid this season, and many fans and pundits around the Bernabeu wanting him to start more regularly ahead of Gareth Bale or Karim Benzema.
